Boquete

Boquete is a small mountain town in Panama. It is located on the shores of the Caldera River, 30 minutes from David , in Panama's green mountain highlands. Because of its elevation, some 1,200 metres (3,900 ft) above sea level, its climate is cooler than that of the lowlands. Its scenic location, temperature, and natural environment make it popular with Panamanians and attracts tourists and retirees from all over the world. Zip line, nature trails, coffee farms tours , rafting, golf are all things to do in Boquete. Many fine and casual dinning and accommodations options are offered. Boquete has a an international jazz festival and a famous flower fair. It is also home of the most expensive coffee in the world, the Geisha.

David

A city connected to the world

David is the capital of the most westerly part of Panama , the province of Chiriquí and has an estimated population of 145,000. It is a relatively affluent city with a firmly established, dominant middle class and a very low unemployment and poverty index along with the expansion of its international airport making it one of the fastest growing regions in the country. You can find all you need to build and finish a house. There are many branches of big Panama city stores and suppliers. There is a Costco and 2 very good 1st world level private hospitals and many clinics. ( medical services, by the way, are very inexpensive)

David is just 45 minutes from the Costa Rica border by car. Panama city is 5 1/2 hour by car on the new 4 lane highway and there are multiple daily 30 minute flights to Panama City .

Playa Las Lajas

A Hidden treasure

Las Lajas is one of the most famous but unspoiled beach in all of Panama, where you can walk along our sandy Pacific beach stretching for kilometers in either direction. Play in the warm inviting waters and relax below palm trees or in the shade of available ranchos. The beach has a golden brown fine sand and a very gentle slope making it very safe with gentle waves and no rip tides or strong undertow. There are no sharks or stingrays neither. Besides relaxing, Playa Las Lajas is ideal for activities like exploring, 
horseback riding, body boarding & surfing, and fishing. 

La Barqueta

A perfect retirement

Only 25 minutes (26 km) from the City of David, La Barqueta is a popular beach with gray sand, crystalline emerald waters. It is located in the south eastern part of the Province of Chiriqui. In certain seasons of the year there are whale sightings (from the shore of the beach) and you can also participate and observe the miraculous spawning of different species of sea turtles. You will also find the luxurious hotel Las Olas Beach Resort and Condos, with all the facilities to spend a pleasant moment on the beach.

Boca Chica

The Jewel of Chiriqui

Boca Chica is a tiny traditional fishermen village but also the gateway to the unique archipelago of the Golfo de Chiriqui with its hundred islands. It has a marina and it is the perfect playground for island hopping , scuba diving & snorkling in coral reefs, whale watching , sport fishing. Most islands are uninhabited and you can find deserted white sand beaches. Other islands have eco resorts and private homes. Inland, Boca Chica is very unique by the diversity of its topography which is composed of many small hills offering incredible ocean views and vistas to the mountains and majestic Volcan Baru. There are a few sand beaches around Boca Chica too. Many expats have built their dream homes in this area, which includes Playa Hermosa, Playa Rincon, Punta Bejuco, Playa Grande and the islands like Boca Brava and Palenque.
